Hartis Pinder joined MB&H in 1963, was admitted to the Bahamian Bar in 1972 and has been a Partner with the firm for more than 30 years. Highly regarded throughout the Bahamas as an accomplished attorney, he has represented his clients with distinction in a variety of legal areas including real estate, corporate and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, share offerings and company re-organisations.
As well as serving as director of various banks and institutions in the Bahamas, Hartis Pinder has lectured in the area of Real Property for the Bahamas Bar Association and been a legal adviser to the Methodist Church of the Bahamas and to Queen’s College, the country’s premiere educational body. He is also a lay preacher.
Although retiring from active practice we are delighted to confirm that Hartis will not sever ties with the firm and will be staying on at McKinney Bancroft & Hughes as Of Counsel. He will lend support to our lawyers as we navigate through one of the most difficult times that the commercial world has ever faced with the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdowns.
Continued access to his wealth of knowledge and experience will be an immeasurable asset to the Partners, Associates and staff of the firm and we would like to thank Hartis for his service, loyalty and dedication, and for being part of the MB&H family for over half a century!
