Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has hired Khin Voong as partner from King & Wood Mallesons’s (KWM) Hong Kong office, where he worked as counsel.
Voong is a banking and finance expert, and expands WFW’s Hong Kong finance offering beyond asset, project and structured finance into areas such as real estate finance, syndicated lending, margin finance, corporate loans and acquisition finance. He also has experience in cross-border transactions involving Chinese borrowers and security providers.
Before joining WFW, Voong worked at KWM and HSBC where he focused on real estate, acquisition and fund financing, syndicated and bilateral loans.
