Corporate partner Taoye Ye has joined Haiwen & Partners from Allen & Overy where she had previously worked as counsel.
Ye specialises in structuring and executing cross-border M&A and private equity investments in China, with a focus on the real estate sector. She also has expertise in the structuring and establishment of onshore and offshore investment funds.
Before joining Haiwen, Ye was counsel at Allen & Overy in Shanghai where she had worked for nine years, and prior to that she was with Paul Hastings for several years.
Ye is the second real estate lawyer in recent times to have joined Haiwen's Shanghai office from Allen & Overy, following Yan Bo’s appointment in December 2019.
