Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has added a new corporate partner to its Delhi office.

Anuj Prasad joins CAM as an equity partner and as head of the Aerospace and Defence sector group from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) where he had served as a partner.

Cyril Shroff, the managing partner of CAM, commented: “We are delighted to have Anuj on board, given his rich sectoral expertise he would add immense value to the firm’s corporate practice.”

Prasad focuses on joint ventures, private equity and M&A matters in sectors including aerospace and defence, financial services, technology and healthcare. He comes on board with more than 19 years of experience and has previously worked at Dua Associates and the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.

Coming after the hire of Varun Sehgal, Prasad’s appointment marks the second time that CAM has snapped up a corporate partner from rival SAM in 2020.
