The Italian affiliate of Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Delfino & Associati, is set to recruit the office head from its struggling rival.
Bruno Cova will join the firm from Paul Hastings, where he was partner for 14 years. He advises clients on cross border acquisitions and restrucutrings of distressed companies.
Cova is the last of two remaining partners (the other is a litgator) at Paul Hastings in Milan, who will both join the Willkie Farr & Gallagher network.
These recent departures follow the loss of energy and infrastructure and finance teams to Herbert Smith Freehills and Gatti Pavesi Bianchi earlier in 2019.
Following the final two departures, Paul Hastings is set to close its Milan office.
