Greenberg Traurig has added two new partners to its corporate practice in Amsterdam.

Veteran partners Bas Vletter and Herald Jongen join the firm following long careers in the Dutch legal industry.

Vletter joins after spending 35 years at Loyens & Loeff, where he worked at the Amsterdam, London and New York offices. He focuses his practice on M&A and equity capital markets work, and often takes on cross-border mandates.

Jongen joins the firm from Allen & Overy's Dutch office, which he co-founded in 2000. Prior to that, he had worked alongside Vletter at the legacy office of Loyens & Loeff for 15 years. He focuses his practice on technology transactions, strategic relationships and M&A work.

The new arrivals follow soon after the firm's recent expansions in Berlin and London, as well as the establishment of an office in Milan.
