K&L Gates has hired a new corporate partner in Hong Kong to add to its expanding practice in Asia.
Guiping Lu joins the firm from the Hong Kong office of Beijing-based Haiwen & Partners where he focused on equity and debt capital market deals and cross-border M&A transactions.
Lu brings experience of the PRC, Hong Kong and US markets and advises clients on private equity, pre-IPO, venture capital financing, and US securities law matters in addition to his capital markets and M&A focus.
This latest hire represents the third corporate partner to join K&L Gates’ Asia offices in the past two months following the additions of Tsuguhito Omagari and Dale Araki in Tokyo.
