Allen & Overy (A&O) has strengthened its debt and equity capital markets capacity in Singapore with a new partner hire.
Felipe Duque rejoins the firm from Shearman & Sterling where he served as of counsel.
A&O’s international capital markets head in Asia Stephen Miller commented: “He will further strengthen our capital markets team across the Asia-Pacific region. He plays a key part in our ongoing investment in our US securities offering and in the growth of our capital markets practice in Asia.”
Duque previously spent two years as a senior associate at A&O and has also worked at Herbert Smith Freehills, Finn Dixon & Herling and Davis Polk & Wardwell. He handles both debt and equity capital markets and has experience in acting for corporate and financial institutions on matters including high-yield offerings, convertible and investment grade debt, liability management, IPOs and block trades.
