Clifford Chance has added to its infrastructure M&A team in London.
The firm has rehired former partner Toby Parkinson from OMERS Infrastructure where he had been a legal director.
Parkinson focuses on infrastructure M&A, at OMERS he advised on investments, the management of infrastructure assets and third-party capital raisings.
Parkinson joined Clifford Chance in 2006, before joining OMERS in 2016 he also spent three years in CC's Japan office.
Recent deal highlights for the firm in the infrasructure M&A space include work for Infracapital on its acquisition of 50% of SSE Telecommunications and Iberdrola's sale of Scottish Power's portfolio of pumped storage, hydro and gas-fired power generation assets to Drax.
