Two Lithuanian firms have agreed to merge.

Walless has announced that it will merge with Dominas Levin. The firms will operate under the Walless brand, ending the presence of the Levin alliance in Lithuania.

The changes will increase the number of lawyers at Walless to 35, including 10 partners. Former Dominas Levin partners Gediminas Dominas and Vaidotas Puklevičius will join the new firm's partnership.

Walless was formed in January 2019 after eight partners from Ellex defected to join the new firm.

Dominas Levin had only begun operation in its current form during September 2018, after joining the pan-Baltic Levin alliance. Prior to that, the firm had operated as Dominas Derling under the Derling network. The firm had also previously operated independently as Dominas & Partners, and as a part of the Glimstedt network under the name, Bernotas & Dominas Glimstedt.

This move is the latest in a series of shifts in the region's legal market over the past five years that has seen a number of mergers and lateral hires.
