The Tallinn office of pan-Baltic law firm Sorainen has announced the arrival of an experienced name partner from Jesse & Kalaus, in a move which marked the end of the latter firm.
Piret Jesse joined the firm after closing her previous firm, which she had started alongside Tanel Kalaus in April 2015. Together with Jesse, her former team members ‒ Robin Teever and Mirell Prosa ‒ will also join Sorainen. Kalaus, a specialist in EU and competition matters, has subsequently joined Triniti.
Prior to founding her own firm, Jesse worked as a partner with Tark Grunte Sutkiene, which now practises as TGS Baltic. Jesse is particularly experienced in the M&A transactions space and will strengthen Sorainen's offering in this area. She is also an experienced practitioner in capital markets, real estate and the start-up sectors.
