Jones Day has hired a new banking and finance partner in Amsterdam.
Ben Fox joins the firm's banking, finance and securities practice from Allen & Overy. He focuses on secured and unsecured syndicated lending, real estate finance and asset finance, among other banking-related matters.
Practicing in Amsterdam since 2001, he is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, and as an advocaat in the Netherlands.
The move comes as the firm is expanding its banking practice across Europe, including in London and most recently in Frankfurt, where the firm hired Michael Fischer.
