Kirkland & Ellis has opened a new office in Dallas.
The Dallas office will be led by six new partners.
M&A practitioners Michael Considine and Alex Rose are joining from Jones Day, while fellow M&A attorneys Thomas Laughlin, Kevin Crews and Dilen Kumar are arriving from Vinson & Elkins, Weil Gotshal & Manges and Winston Strawn, respectively.
Kirkland also added capital markets partner Lanchi Huynh from Vinson & Elkins.
With an office already in Houston, opening in Dallas gives Kirkland two Texas locations.
