DLA Piper has enhanced its North West private equity practice with a new partner hire in Manchester.
Andrew Phillips joins the firm from Eversheds Sutherland. He focuses on advising private equity institutions and management teams on MBOs, MBIs, exits and portfolio acquisitions.
His recent work includes acting for Equistone Partners Europe on its £185 million investment in Apoyee Group, and acting for CBPE Capital and the management on the £100 million+ disposal of Warwick Chemicals to The Lubrizol Corporation.
