Squire Patton Boggs has hired a new India focused corporate partner in its London office.
Nimi Patel joins from Herbert Smith Freehills where she had previously headed up the firm's India practice.
Patel acts on M&A, capital markets, funds and corporate finance work, with her core clients consisting of Indian corporates.
She founded the HSF India group in 1994 and has chaired it ever since.
In addition to her legal work she is also a non-executive director at JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust PLC
