Simmons & Simmons has hired a new derivatives partner in London.
Matthew Hebburn, a Highly regarded lawyer in the IFLR1000, joins from Allen & Overy in Singapore.
He acts primarily for banks on transactional, regulatory and advisory matters in connection with derivatives and derivative products as well as derivatives disputes.
Work highlights include work on the development of the industry standard auction methodology for the settlement of credit derivatives, advising the derivatives industry body (ISDA) on market standard templates for credit derivatives and being involved in the regional implementation of the most recent iteration of the market standard credit derivatives terms on behalf of ISDA.
