Finnish firm Borenius has announced the arrival of a new counsel in its Helsinki practice.
Mikko Heinonen - who joins the firm from Roschier, where he had been for almost two and a half years - will serve as co-head of the firm's debt capital markets team, alongside Juha Koponen and Niina Nuottimäki, alongside contributing to its banking and finance practice.
One of the more significant matters Heinonen recently worked on saw him serving as part of the team acting for Acorda Therapeutics in connection with its $363 million acquisition of the Biotie Therapies Corporation.
