Mayer Brown has added a new private equity partner to its UK team.
Neil Evans joins the firm from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett where he had been an associate. He advises private equity sponsors and corporates on M&A, equity capital markets work and investments.
Before joining Simpson Thacher he had worked at onside law and Clifford Chance.
He joins a team that has grown in prominence since the appointment of Perry Yam as head of private equity in London in February 2016.
