Dentons has hired a new energy and projects partner in Uzbekistan.
Bobur Shamsiev joins the firm from Lukoil in Kazakhstan where he was chief legal counsel. He also has experience advising the Uzbek Ministry of Justice.
He focuses on energy and and upstream oil and gas work.
Dentons expanded its presence in the country in June 2017 through a combination with Uzbek firm Avent Advokat.
