Addleshaw Goddard has enhanced its UK asset finance team with the hire of a new partner in London.
Clive Smith (an IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer) joins the team from Osborne Clarke. He focuses on rail and asset finance with a particular focus on rolling stock, including work related to leasing, receivables and portfolio sales.
He had previously worked at DLA Piper and Norton Rose Fulbright.
Recent work includes advising Eversholt Rail on the £360 million procurement of a fleet of Hitachi rolling stock by First Great Western and on the procurement of Civity rolling stock Arriva Rail North.
