The Amsterdam office of international firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the addition of a new partner to its financial markets group.
Jan-Joost Van Rijsbergen joined the firm on May 1 from the Dutch office of Clifford Chance, where he had been since the year 2000. During his time there he also spent seven months seconded to ING Nederland in 2005.
His experience ranges from corporate loans to leveraged finance and structured finance and he has a particular expertise in real estate finance.
