King & Spalding has added partner Jim Woolery in New York.
Woolery joins his new firm as head of the M&A and corporate governance practices.
Before joining King & Spalding, Woolery spent time with Cravath Swaine & Moore and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft, co-headed JPMorgan Chase's North American M&A group and founded middle-market investment firm Hudson Executive Capital.
One of Woolery's recent career highlights was working on Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners' acquisition of Dell.
