Centurion enters South Sudan

Firm signs alliance with Awatkeer Law Chambers

South African firm Centurion has signed an alliance with South Sudan firm Awatkeer Law Chambers.

The deal will see the two firms combine their expereince and training programs.

Awatkeer has 17 lawyers in the capital city Juba.

Centurion is the first foreign firm to enter the South Sudan market. Alongside its South Africa base the firm has offices in Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Mauritius and Ghana.

Centurion stated in a press release that it intends to work with public and private sector clients and NGOs in the country.
