Former member of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Lona Nallengara has returned to Shearman & Sterling.
Nallengara rejoins Shearman's capital markets and corporate governance practices following his tenure as chief of staff for then-SEC chair Mary Jo White from 2013-2015.
Before his departure for the SEC in 2011, Nallengara spent 13 years with Shearman.
After the SEC, he held the position of chief governance officer at Bridgewater Associates.
Nallengara advises clients on capital markets deals, regulatory issues and corporate governance matters.
