DLA Piper and Peruvian firm Pizarro Botto & Escobar Abogados have established a cooperation agreement.
The entity will operate under the name DLA Piper Pizarro Botto Escobar.
Pizarro Botto & Escobar Abogados has over 40 lawyers and specialises in M&A, banking and projects among others.
This agreement marks another step in DLA Piper's expansion into Latin America. In December 2016, DLA Piper and Santiago-based Bahamondez Alvarez & Zegers announced a cooperation agreeement in Chile.
The firm announced the opening of a new office in Puerto Rico in July 2016.
The firm also operates as DLA Piper Martinez Beltran in Colombia, as DLA Piper Gallastegui & Lozano in Mexico and has a cooperation agreement with Campos Mello in Brazil.
