DLA Piper has officially integrated Portuguese firm ABBC into its global network.
The firm had been a relationship firm of DLA's since 2010 but will now become a full member and adopt the global firm's branding.
ABBC has 50 lawyers in Lisbon and the tie-up means that DLA now has offices across Iberia.
ABBC also has a relationship with ADCA in Angola, with the latter already a member of DLA's Africa Group.
In the 2017 IFLR1000 Financial and corporate rankings, the firm's strongest showing was in M&A where it achieved a Tier 3 ranking.
