Latham & Watkins has hired a new regulatory partner in New York.
Wenchi Hu joins the firm's corporate department and financial institutions group after serving as head of the Office of Clearance and Settlement Supervision at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
An expert on the Securities Exchange Act and the Dodd-Frank Act, Hu specialises in deals involving the regulatory framewok that governs the continued growth of FinTech.
Her addition comes less than a month after Latham acquired two other regulatory partners in Washington, DC.
