TMI Associates has hired two M&A partners in Japan to add to its corporate practice in Tokyo.
Corporate experts Masakazu Iwakura and Gyo Toda join the firm from Nishimura & Asahi where they had respectively worked from 1987 and 1997.
Iwakura has over 30 years of practice in M&A, corporate litigation, corporate tax, intellectual property, and entertainment law matters.
Toda has knowledge and experience across the corporate, commercial and business law matters, including substantial expertise in the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of Japan.
TMI aims to strengthen its corporate law capabilities, including its M&A, corporate litigation, corporate tax, and commercial law expertise in Japanese law.
