Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick has announced the arrival of a new partner on October 3 to bolster the strength of its banking and finance practice.
Freya Mareels joins the firm from the leading Belgian practice Linklaters, where she had been for 10 years, most recently as a managing associate. In her time at her previous firm she gained experience working in London and Amsterdam.
Her past experience has had a focus on leveraged financing and general corporate lending, including asset-based financing, real estate finance and debt restructuring.
