Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison has strengthened its corporate department with a dual partner hire.
Betty Yap and Judie Ng Shortell have joined the US firm’s offices from Linklaters in Hong Kong and Beijing respectively.
Yap if focused on cross-border M&A, strategic investments, joint ventures, private equity and special situations transactions, and foreign direct investments; while Shortell focuses on China-related private equity investments, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic acquisitions and special situations.
