PRC firm Zhong Lun has recruited a new corporate partner to strengthen its practice in Hong Kong.
Alan Xu joins the firm from Simmons & Simmons where he advised clients in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other investment matters.
Wu Peng, Zhong Lun’s managing partner, said of the hire: “Alan’s appointment will further grow and strengthen the firm’s international practice. Alan’s rich experience in cross-border transactions will surely be of great value to the overseas expansion of the firm’s Chinese clients.”
Xu is experienced in advising on a number of high profile direct investment, M&A and restructuring transactions. He is admitted to practice law in China and New York and previously also worked for K&L Gates and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong.
