PRESS RELEASE, Panama City, 11 February, 2016 - Morgan & Morgan has been engaged by Metro de Panama, S.A., a corporation 100% owned by the Republic of Panama, to prepare the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for Line 2 of the Metro of Panama. The EPC contract was an important part of the documentation used as part of the bid process for Line 2 of the Metro de Panama, the most important public infrastructure project under development in the Republic of Panama and the first of its class in Central America.

Line 2 of the Metro of Panama will connect with Line 1 and is expected to have a length of 21 kilometres and 16 stations. The EPC contract will be awarded to the best of various interested bidders that shall undergo the Government of the Republic of Panama’s bidding process in accordance to Panamanian law.
