Chinese firm Haiwen & Partners has recruited a new lawyer to strengthen its corporate practice.
Guiping Lu joins the firm from Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong where he was of counsel and a member of the US firm’s corporate department.
With over 15 years’ experience, Lu is a transactional lawyer focused on equity and debt capital markets transactions, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financing.
He is qualified in the PRC, Hong Kong and the State of Washington in the US. A graduate from the University of Washington’s law school, Lu was also previously an assistant professor of English at a university in Nanjing, China.
