CMS Cameron McKenna Greszta & Sawicki has expanded its Polish capital markets team with the addition of three lawyers from DLA Piper Wiater.
Michał Pawłowski (an IFLR1000 Leading lawyer), Rafał Woźniak and Magdalena Trzepizur all join the team in Warsaw. Pawłowski and of counsel Woźniak handle both debt and equity matters, while Trzepizur focuses more on equity work. All three also handle corporate work including M&A matters.
Pawłowski co-founded the Polish capital markets practice during his team at DLA, and prior to that had worked at White & Case.
Though it has strong reputation in finance work and energy projects, CMS does not have the same profile in capital markets and the move will be seen as an attempt to redress this.
