DLA Piper has significantly enhanced its restructuring capacity in Italy with the addition of a team in Milan.
Partner Francesco de Gennaro (an IFLR1000 Leading lawyer). counsel Luca Magrini and Alessandro Lanzi join the team from Ashurst alongside six other junior lawyers.
The team acts on financial and corporate restructuring matters and recent work includes advising RBS as creditor in relation to the composition plan (concordato preventivo) of Seat Pagine Gialle and similar work for the bank on the composition plan of Grand Hotel Molino Stucky.
Before joining Ashurst in 2011, de Gennaro had been a partner at Italian domestic NCTM.
