At the Annual Vietnam M&A Forum 2015 on 6 August 2015, VILAF won the Best M&A Vietnam Law Firm of the Year Award.
Vietnam M&A Forum is the largest M&A and strategic investment annual public event in Vietnam for the business community, domestic and foreign investors in Vietnam, organized by Vietnam Investment Review, AVM Vietnam, and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
VILAF recently advised Mondelez International as local counsel in its USD370 million acquisition of the snack business of listed company Kinh Do Corporation, advised Credit Saison in its merger with HD Finance, advised Nguyen Kim in the joint venture sale of equity stake in its chain of electronic stores to Power Buy, and advised Gamuda Land in the buy-out of equity stake in Celadon City project, amongst others. These deals received awards of best M&A deals or best Real Estate deals at the Vietnam M&A Forum this year.
