White & Case has established a new alliance in Indonesia this month following two key partner departures from MD & Partners, a firm it had allied with since 2013.

Witara Cakra Advocates was named as White & Case’s new associated office in Jakarta.

In a statement, the firm reasserts its commitment towards the Indonesian legal market: "White & Case has been active in Indonesia for more than 40 years, and we continue to work with leading Indonesian law firms to provide the best advice to our clients."

After suffering key partner exits from its old ally MD & Partners, White & Case ended its exclusive alliance agreement.

Nadia Soraya joined Norton Rose Fulbright's associate office Susandarini & Partners, while Mita Djajadiredja rejoined Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia.
