Phoenix Legal in India has opened its third office in Chennai to go alongside its other offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.
The new outfit will be manned by a four-lawyer team led by principal associate Sriram Ramachandran of the corporate group.
Abhishek Saxena, a partner at Phoenix Legal, said: "Although we are starting with a small team, with Chennai being an important manufacturing cluster and with the emphasis on [the] ‘Make in India’ initiative, we expect the office to grow rapidly and become comparable to the other two offices in a short period of time."
Phoenix Legal has recently been active in a range of sectors including manufacturing, automotive, mining, power and real estate.
