International firm Baker & McKenzie has announced a major addition to its Dutch team with the arrival of a seven-lawyer corporate team.
The new arrivals include partner Henk Arnold Sijnja, who joins from Linklaters, and six others from local firm Houthoff Buruma. The Houthoff team includes partners Casper Banz and Mohammed Almarini and four associates.
Sijnja is a cross-border M&A specialist who also focuses on IPOs, joint ventures and reorganisations while Banz and Almarini both advise strategic and private equity investors on private M&A.
