Norton Rose Fulbright has hired a new derivatives partner in London to expand its capital markets practice.

Daniel Franks joins the firm from Field Fisher Waterhouse. He had previously been a counsel at Allen & Overy.

His practice focuses on privately negotiated and structured derivative products, including credit, equity, funds and rates derivatives. He also acts on structured finance and securitisation matters.

David Shearer, a capital markets partner at Norton Rose Fulbright said of the hire: “Daniel brings a wealth of experience with him, which will add depth to our transactional offering in addition to our broader derivatives practice.
