Corporate attorney Amit Manubarwala joins Economic Laws Practice (ELP) from Wadia Ghandy & Co, where he became partner in 2011.

Manubarwala – who specialises in M&A, private equity, joint ventures, intellectual property and competition law – has taken up the post of associate partner in ELP’s corporate and commercial practice group.

“We are delighted to have him,” ELP partner Rohan Shah said in a statement. “We think he will be a great addition to our corporate and commercial practice, which is really growing.”

This move follows ELP’s recent hiring of former SNG & Partners’ banking and finance attorney S. Babu as partner and head of the Mumbai branch.
