William Fry has launched an aviation and asset finance practice after hiring Maples and Calder partner David Maughan.
Maughan, who was recruited last year but only joined the firm in 2014, advises on all classes of assets, specialising in aircraft. He is recommended for his work with debt capital markets instruments and structured products.
He is the second partner the Irish firm has hired recently. In October 2013 the Dublin based outfit recruited investment funds partner Ian Dillon form Campbells in the Cayman Islands.
