There have been a number of notable changes in the Baltics' legal market since December.

Among the moves with regional significance was pan-Baltic firm Vilgerts' decision to scale back its presence in the region to just one office in Riga. The firm's former offices in Belarus and Estonia have rebranded to practise independently, but its Lithuania office has closed.

Another move with pan-Baltic implications was the launch of Klauberg Baltics, which opened offices in three countries in the region. The firm was founded by the former name partner of bnt's Latvia branch, Theis Klauberg, resulting in bnt changing its name to Jensen & Svikis Legal.
