Stock Connect to boost SFC – CSRC cooperation

Senior Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) executives have agreed that the Hong Kong – Shanghai Stock Connect has prompted unprecedented cooperation between the Hong Kong and China securities regulators.

The Hong Kong – Shanghai Stock Connect will create a direct link between the Hong Kong and Shanghai Stock Exchanges, the first time international investors will be able to invest in China’s capital markets without a Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII) or an Renminbi QFII (RQFII) quota.
