Greek PE deal overcomes eurozone fears

A US private equity firm’s acquisition of a Greek company signals eurozone fears are beginning to thaw, deal counsel have said.

The October 5 agreement between New York-based Paine & Partners and Eurodrip is evidence that buyers outside the EU are starting to look at targets which, despite being in the worst hit eurozone markets, can be decoupled from country risk.
