India banks call for equity regulatory certainty

Equity offerings in India will continue to falter if regulators do not address policy uncertainty in the market.

Bankers on next week’s IFLR India Capital Markets Forum panel, ‘Equity issuances: considerations, challenges and alternatives’ believe the country’s policy limbo was proving a bigger constraint on deal flow than wider fiscal uncertainties.
