GRATA International Mongolia is one of the integrated offices of GRATA International Law Firm, having alliances in most of the Eurasian region and some big players including China, the US and the UK. The firm has more than 10 years of experience in rendering legal services to foreign and local clients in business laws. Bolormaa Volodya, the manging partner of the firm, specialises in corporate and M&A, tax and dispute resolution. 

Operating under its motto ‘Local Knowledge to Global Players’, KhanLex Partners is one of Mongolia’s premier law firms, with strong expertise in finance, infrastructure, general commercial and corporate law, and dispute resolution. The firm has advised on many of Mongolia’s landmark deals over the past decade. An innovator in law practice, the firm is now developing its expertise in the area of climate finance in Mongolia. Key figures include partner and chief executive Uchralbayar Iderkhangai, Batjargal Gombosuren and Enkhbat Batsukh. 

One of the largest law firms in Mongolia, MDS & KhanLex is regularly involved in the mortgage-backed securities (MBS) market in Mongolia. Its work ranges from the early stages of designing and incorporating special purpose vehicles to the actual issuance of MBS. Key partners include Maizorig Janchivdorj, Dugerjav Dash-Onolt and Batbuyan Sodnomjamts. 

Melville Erdenedalai provides legal services related to banking, finance, corporate and M&A, and international arbitration. Its industry strengths are in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors. The firm’s founders, Chris Melville and Erdenedalai Odkhuu, frequently lead its key deals and cases. The firm acquired the Mongolian business and assets of Hogan Lovells on December 1, 2017, after the latter’s decision to withdraw from the market. It has now entered into an association agreement with Hogan Lovells. 

Full-service firm Nomin & Advocates specialises in corporate and commercial law, with particular focus on M&A, real estate and construction. The firm also has expertise in banking and finance, dispute resolution, and energy and infrastructure.
