Vugar is the former head of Deloitte Legal in Azerbaijan, where successfully launched legal practice for Deloitte Azerbaijan.

- Advised banks from EU and Russia in USD multi-hundred million project finances.
- Assisted Tekfen in development of alternative and renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan.
- Development of the tax and customs protocols of a Production Sharing Agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Total.
- Advised for SOCAR Uniper in project finance.
- Lead advisor in connection with formation of JVs, performance of due diligences, development of memorandum of associations, sale and purchase, JV agreements for Schlumberger, Samsung, SDL Denholm, Stork, Technip.
