Biography
Tunmise is a finance, energy and infrastructure lawyer with experience across the banking, oil and gas, transport and financial services sectors. She advises lenders (including development finance institutions), project sponsors and project companies on corporate & project finance transactions, asset and share acquisition transactions, and other complex financing and restructuring transactions.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised Nigeria LNG on the $3 billion hybrid financing by lenders (including DFIs, ECAs and Nigerian and International commercial banks) for the construction and development of its 7th liquefied natural gas train (Train 7)
- Advised Dangote Cement Plc. (as Issuer) on the establishment of a NGN 300 billion multi-instrument programme and the series 1 issuance thereunder
- Advised IFC and AfDB on the $450 million financing to Dangote Industries Limited for the development of an integrated fertilizer plant and crude oil refinery complex
- Advising IFC on the $20 million financing to a Nigerian clean energy solutions provider (as part of the Canada-IFC Renewable Energy Program for Africa)
