Toinon Hoss’ principal fields of activity are corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, structuring, financing and equity capital markets.

Toinon has advised numerous private equity clients in relation to acquisition and other structures, and is active in the field of joint ventures and investment structures.

She advises major international groups of companies for corporate reorganisations, financing and re-financing as well as in relation to their capital markets transactions.

• Advises Volkswagen on the Luxembourg aspects of the planned acquisition of Europcar
• Advised Silverlake on the Luxembourg aspects of several of its investments including in IVC Evidensia, Europe’s largest veterinary care provider, Meilleurtaux and Klarna
• Advised Cinven and Bain Capital on the Luxembourg aspects of the acquisition of Lonza Specialty Ingredients.
• Advised Hellman & Friedman on the Luxembourg aspects of the merger between Nets and Nexi S.p.A.
• Advised Cinven on the Luxembourg aspects of the investment in think-cell.
• Advised TPG as to Luxembourg law aspects in connection with its acquisition of a 100% interest in various solar projects across Spain and Latin America from Trina Solar.
